CLINICAL DEPARTMENTS – SRIMS COLLEGE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY

In alignment with Competency-Based Physiotherapy Curriculum (CBPC) guidelines, SRIMS College of Physiotherapy offers integrated teaching through various clinical departments of our parent medical institution. These departments serve as an essential resource for clinical skill development, patient exposure, interprofessional learning, and evidence-based clinical reasoning.

Focus for Physiotherapy Students:
  • Understanding clinical manifestations and medical management of systemic diseases relevant to physiotherapy.
  • Clinical exposure to cardiovascular, respiratory, metabolic, and neurological disorders.
  • Observation and documentation of patient responses to physiotherapeutic interventions in acute and chronic settings.
  • Integration with medical treatment protocols and interdisciplinary communication.
